We Are Lutherans

As Lutherans, we are proud of the heritage of the Reformation and the great principles of Christian belief rediscovered by Martin Luther which form the core of our faith and life.

Grace Alone - All of God's mercy, love and forgiveness is given to us purely as a gift which we in no way deserve.

Faith Alone - We recieve these gifts simply by trusting in the God who promises them, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Scripture Alone - The Bible is the one reliable and authoritative source of our knowledge about God, His will for our lives, and especially His love for us through our savior Jesus Christ.

We are Christians

As followers of Christ, we rejoice that we are part of the much wider christian fellowship which includes all who confess Jesus Chirst as Lord.

We hold joint worship services with other Christian Churches in Door County, and join with them in Vacation Bible School programs and acts of service to others.

We welcome into our congregation individuals from a wide range of denominational backgrounds as well as those with no previous church background. This rich variety of people contributes to the variety and vitality of our congregation.

Our Mission

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church.

Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
