Christian Education

Shepherd of the Bay offers learning opportunities for all ages.

The Sunday School enrolls children of preschool age through sixth grade.

Vacation Bible School is held in held in cooperation with other community churches during mid-June at Sister Bay Baptist Church.

A Wonderful Wednesdays summer program offers a variety of activities for children ages 3 through sixth grade. During the school year, the program offers a story hour for toddlers and pre-schoolers. After school activities for grades 1-6 emphasize service and outreach.

The completed mural was dedicated June 2, 2002 and hangs in the church entryway.

Kids enjoyed cool fun on a warm Wonderful Wednesday in July.

Wonderful Wednesdays kids make soup bowls as a fund raising project in cooperation with the Peninsula Art School to benefit Feed My People.

Preschoolers enjoy a story hour with their moms.

Adult Education is anchored by weekly Monday and Friday morning Bible classes taught by Pastor Foster and Angela Foster. These classes provide opportunities for individuals to study God's word on an ongoing basis. They also create an interacting group of Christians who enjoy a sense of community and support.

Women of the ELCA (WELCA) offers a monthly morning Bible study lead by Angela Foster. A monthly study lead cooperatively by participants follows the Lutheran Women Today magazine.

Special classes in various formats are offered during the summer tourist season and the winter months as the church schedule permits.
